Last month, MAJ Mihai CIUTĂ - Range Control Officer at Land Forces Combat Training Center (CILFT “GETICA” Cincu) along with Romanian Land Forces and Air Forces representatives visited Combat Readiness Training Center and Townsend bombing range, Savannah, Georgia – USA.
The purpose of their visit was the familiarization with the Georgia Air National Guard, Combat Readiness Training Center, and TOWNSEND Firing Range.
The experience with the Romanian Ranges reveals the opportunities to increase the information exchange regarding the operational, administrative and safety procedures on range. The end state of this bilateral interaction between the two centers lies in understanding the range operations and the target development procedures, and it paves the way for the an increased interoperability between our nations.
