Multinational exercise Saber Guardian 2017 (SG17) conducted by U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) will take place in Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary, over July 11 to 20, 2017. |
On January 14-16, a delegacy from Joint Force Command Naples came and performed a site survey for the TRIDENT JOUST exercise which will take place in the Land Forces Combat Training Center “Getica”.
TRIDENT JOUST is a multinational exercise conducted by NATO Headquarters and it represents the main effort of the LFCTC on 2015. |
On 25th October, LF CTC celebrated not only the Romanian Armed Forces Day, but it also received the Unit Colors. |
On 11th November, a Joint Force Command Naples delegacy performed a site survey visit at LF CTC for the TRIDENT JOUST 2015 exercise. The group was led by LTC. Fred Lewald accompanied by seven members of JFC Naples. The commander of LF CTC, COL. Nicolae Ioan stated: “TRIDENT JOUST 2015 exercise is in the early planning phase. This exercise is a first and LF CTC is able to provide the experience, logistic support and facilities, for the development of the participating structures' interoperability. The feedback of the site survey team was positive, thus LF CTC’s personnel is ready to provide the entire support required in order to accomplish the exercise objectives.” |
On November, the 13th, LF CTC had a visit from the USAREUR deputy commander, major general Walter E. Piatt. The Romanian delegacy was lead by major general Dumitru Scarlat, the chief of the Land Forces, accompanied by brigade general Vasile Roman, the land forces chief of Training and Doctrine and by the brigade general Marius Harabagiu, the general staff chief of Training and Doctrine. During the visit, there have been discussions concerning “RUBICON 14” and “WISE FORESIGHT 14” exercises, followed by the presentation of the LF CTC facilities and training capabilities. |
On 5 December 2014, at Land Forces Combat Training Center „Getica” took place a site survey visit for the joint exercises planned in 2015 with our american partners within the Atlantic Resolve operation. |
